‘Fear the North’ is now ‘Upper North Zone’

After what was a successful initial season for the ‘Fear the North’ program, OMAHA, in conjunction with BC Hockey have agreed to pilot the concept across the region with the intention to expand across the province for the 2026-2027 season, and have expanded the program to include not only U15, but also the U13 and U18 age groups this season.

The program will include players from Salmon Arm, North Okanagan, Sicamous, and Revelstoke.

Now Accepting Coach Applications for U13, U15 & U18!

If you're interested in coaching for the 2025-26 season, please CLICK HERE to apply as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach for any of our U13, U15, or U18 teams.

Applicants can specify which level they’d like to coach or choose to be considered for multiple levels, depending on where their player is placed after tryouts.

This season, we’re welcoming parent coaches, which means that in some cases a Head Coach may not be named until after player placement is finalized. We encourage both parent and non-parent coaches to apply. All applicants will receive full details on the selection process.

Coaches are strongly encouraged to have all certifications up to date.
