Organizational Structure of Divisions


TIMBITS TYKES (3-4 Years Old)

  • Introductory hockey program designed for our youngest players

  • Emphasis on fun, basic skating, and early skill development

  • Focus on building confidence and comfort on the ice in a supportive environment

  • No formal games or scorekeeping

  • Coaches prioritize engagement, encouragement, and safety for all participants


TIMBITS U7 (5-6 Years Old)

Formerly: Initiation

  • Emphasis on fun and skill development while fostering mutual respect

  • Training environment consistent with Hockey Canada guidelines

  • Scoreboard is used with a maximum 5-goal spread

  • Individual players are limited to a maximum of 3 goals per game

  • Coaches must ensure all players have the opportunity to play forward, defense, and goal


U9 (7-8 Years Old)

Formerly: Novice

  • Focus on fun, development, and inclusion

  • No scoreboard, league standings, or individual stats

  • Training is aligned with Hockey Canada development models

  • Coaches ensure all players try forward, defense, and goal positions


U11 House (9-10 Years Old)

Formerly: Atom Recreational/House

  • Emphasis on skill development and fun in a respectful, inclusive environment

  • Competes in Okanagan North U11 Super League

  • Coaches must ensure all players rotate through positions, including goalie


U11 Development (9-10 Years Old)

Formerly: Atom Development

  • An introduction to competitive hockey with continued focus on skill and sportsmanship

  • Competes in the Okanagan Mainline U11 Development League

  • Follows Hockey Canada development principles


U13 House (11-12 Years Old)

Formerly: PeeWee Recreational/House

  • Recreational play focused on player growth, respect, and fun

  • Competes in the Okanagan North U13 Super League

  • Coaches promote positional rotation and balanced opportunity


U13 Rep (11-12 Years Old)

Formerly: PeeWee Rep

  • Competitive play with a continued focus on respect and skill development

  • Competes in the Okanagan Mainline U13 League

  • Follows Hockey Canada guidelines for player and team development


U15 House (13-14 Years Old)

  • Recreational program focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship

  • Training environment follows Hockey Canada and OMAHA guidelines

  • Emphasis on fun, inclusion, and supporting each player's individual progress

  • Competes in the Okanagan North U15 House League

  • Coaches are encouraged to provide players with opportunities in multiple positions


U15 Rep (13-14 Years Old)

Formerly: Bantam Rep

  • Competitive environment focusing on development, teamwork, and respect

  • Competes in the OMAHA District U15 League

  • Encourages athletes to strive for personal and team growth
